HOMEWORK POLICY
Students will have homework every night (except Fridays) and the homework will be the same each night. It will be written down on the board for students to copy into agendas every afternoon. The items are as follows:
Math worksheet (Corresponding to that day’s math lesson)
Word study activity (One activity each night and studying on Thursday)
Reading log (Read for 20 minutes and fill out the log)
2 Cursive handwriting pages (Starting in January, given on Monday and due Friday)
*Please note: Sometimes students might have an additional assignment (take home project, book report, etc.). Students and parents will be informed ahead of time when this occurs and will have ample time to complete the assignment.
If you are unclear of the nightly homework, check your student's agenda. Every morning they write the homework for that evening. They should bring it home each night so you can check it. :)
